Revelation 13:1

Revelation 13:1″And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, the beast having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns.”

Q. What does the bible say about numbers, heads, horns, crowns and sea?

A. First, the number seven means perfection or the end of something. When 7 is over then you have the coming of Jesus. You have 7 seals, 7 churches, 7 trumpets, 7 stars, and 7 last plagues. They all end with the coming of Jesus Christ.

1. SEA, WATER = people, multitude, nations, tongues

Proof: Revelation 17:15 “The water which thou sawest where the whore sitteth, are people, multitudes, nations and tongues”.

2.      HEADS= major powers, rulers, governments and mountains.

Strong's concordance: 3735 orosor’-os probably from an obsolete oro (to rise or “rear”; perhaps akin to 142; compare 3 a mountain (as lifting itself   above the plain): -hill, mount(-ain).

 

3.      Revelation 17:9 "The 7 heads are 7 mountains which the woman sitteth. "

Fact: Documented Roman Catholic source states “It is within the city of Rome, called The City on Seven Hills, that the entire area of Vatican State Proper is now confined” The Catholic Encyclopedia, p. 529.What are the seven hills of Rome? “Rome is known to be built upon seven hills. Rome was said to have been founded when Romulus and Remus, twin sons of Mars, ended up at the foot of the hill Palatine and founded the city. Proof: Daniel 8:22, “Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.”

 

4.    10 HORNS = power, strength.

Proof: Psalms 89:17,24 “For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.

 

5. CROWNS = kingship, victory.

Proof: James 1:12, “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”

It is perfectly clear from the word of God and the history of the world that the 1^st beast found in Revelation 13:1 is the nation Rome, where we can also find Vatican City is confined by seven mountain (hills) as stated in Revelation 17:9. We must allow the Word of God that is written in the KJV Bible to speak to us for the Bible clearly defines itself.
