Catholic Invasion - Philippines
Around the 16th century the Spaniards had invaded the Philippines starting on the island of Cebu. Ferdinand Magellan, was a Portuguese man who sailed for the Spaniards. They were to invade and conquer in the name of Christianity. Sounds familiar? Yes, it should because this is still during the time of the Christian Crusades. It appears that their motto was, receive the cross or be killed with the sword. This is the same language that was happening around the rest of the world during the Catholic Christian Crusades where they were killing millions in the name of God by the order of their god the pope. They stole all the people’s gold, silver and other riches; they murdered men, women and children if they did not receive the catholic faith and their cross.
Those in the Catholic faith have been lead to believe a lie and have failed to realize that Jesus Himself said “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.” Matthew 5:44 This is not an attack on those of you in the Catholic faith. These are just the facts and for proof on this we see in a “catholic news service article# ze00030709 in the Vatican information service dated march 12, 2000 we find for the first time in history, John Paul II confessed the sins committed in the service of truth intolerance and violence against dissidents: religious wars: violence and abuse of the crusades, and violent methods of the inquisition.”
This is an open attempt to change the Law of God, regardless of the fact that Jesus Christ Himself declared in Matthew 5:18, “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law…“ The Catholic Church has removed 218 jots and tittles from the Law of God just as Daniel stated they would in Daniel 7:25. See: http://www.remnantofgod.org/10-rcc.htm So as history shows, the Crusades had also made it to the Philippines through the efforts of the Spaniards. On March 16, 1521, Magellan’s expedition landed on Homonhon island in the Philippines. He was the first European to reach the islands. Rajah Humabon of Cebu was greeted with the sword because prior to this Magellan was actually on his way to Indonesia to conquer but they came across the Philippine Islands and landed in Cebu where it appears Rajah Humabon had no choice but to receive the Catholic faith and befriend Magellan or die. Magellan encountered many that would not convert so they killed with the sword. There was a proud man by the name of Lapu-Lapu who was one that would not convert to Catholicism. Lapu-Lapu ended up being a strong force to contend with as Mr. Magellan would meet his match.
“Today, Datu Lapu-Lapu is retroactively honored as the first “Philippine national hero” to resist foreign rule, though formally the territory of the “Philippine Islands” had yet to be established or even named at the time. He is remembered by a number of commemorations: a monument on the island of Mactan, a city bearing his name, and a statue at the Cebu Provincial Capitol. The battle is re-enacted during its anniversary. There is a spot in Lapu-Lapu city in Mactan Island that is revered by the islanders. A marker says it was on that site that a man who had sought dominion over the island in the name of the Spanish king had died in the hands of the brave warrior chieftain, Lapu-Lapu, four hundred eighty five years ago. Magellan is also honored for bringing Christianity to the Philippines, a large monument known as the Magellan’s Cross, and the Magellan’s shrine has been erected in his legacy in Cebu City, and Mactan Island. A local variety of red grouper is called Lapu-Lapu, named after the chieftain. Actor-turned-politician Lito Lapid starred in a film called Lapu-Lapu, and novelty singer Yoyoy Villame wrote a folk song entitled “Magellan” that tells the story of the Battle of Mactan.”[7] [6] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Mactan After they returned defeated, King Charles decided that Spain should conquer the Philippines. Five subsequent expeditions were then sent to the Islands. These were led by Garcia Jofre Loaisa (1525), Sebastian Cabot (1526), Alvaro de Saavedra (1527), Rudy Lopez de Villalobos (1542) and Miguel Lopez de Legazpi (1564). Only the last two actually reached the Philippines; and only Legazpi succeeded in colonizing the Islands through force. History shows that they did return and conquer the Philippine islands because the record shows that there are over 60 million people here and 80% are deceived into believing they have salvation through the whore described in Revelation Chapter 17. |

When our nation shall so abjure the principles of its government as to enact a Sunday law, Protestantism will in this act join hands with popery.– Testimonies Volume 5, p. 712 Protestants will throw their whole influence and strength on the side of the papacy. By a national act enforcing the false sabbath they will give life and vigor to the corrupt faith of Rome, reviving her tyranny and oppression of conscience.–Maranatha p.179 Sooner or later Sunday laws will be passed.–Review and Herald Feb. 16, 1905 Soon the Sunday laws will be enforced, and men in positions of trust will be embittered against the little handful of God’s commandment-keeping people.- Last Day Events p.129 The prophecy of Revelation 13 declares that the power represented by the beast with lamblike horns shall cause “the earth and them which dwell therein” to worship the papacy– there symbolized by the beast “like unto a leopard.” . . . This prophecy will be fulfilled when the United States shall enforce Sunday observance, which Rome claims as the special acknowledgment of her supremacy. . . . Last Day Events p.129 Political corruption is destroying love of justice and regard for truth, and even in free America rulers and legislators, in order to secure public favor, will yield to the popular demand for a law enforcing Sunday observance.– Last Day Events p.129
